An opening sentence of that sort would seem to promise some rather intimate confessions. And considering that this is a rather public medium, maybe there's substantial reason to expect something of that sort here. But not only isn't that my intention, doing so would be too far out of character. After more than a decade of hard work, attempting to establish a distinct persona that might be called my Boidem identity, stepping out of that character wouldn't really make sense, and wouldn't be particularly easy either. My Boidem persona is often tangibly distinct from my "real life" identity. Less than being a question of what "peculiarities" I'm willing to admit to in public, whatever confessions that appear here are simply a function of the online image I've carefully nurtured in these pages.
