Though there are probably numerous reasons for me to feel inadequate about my blogging, the fact that my posts may not fit the parameters of what might be considered a normative blog post isn't really one of these. A blog is a collection of writings (or "writings" in various media) usually organized by date, with the latest being the most prominently displayed. Beyond that, though I'm sure that various definitions can be more or less accurate, I doubt that there's any definitive definition that can fit the vast variety of writings that appear on blogs. On the other hand, I've already noted that I resist as highly inaccurate the definition of at least a handful of Boidem readers that the Boidem is a blog.
