(Not) just an opportunity for some name dropping.
Did I really need to refer to Yeats' The Second Coming in order to find some sort
of connection between things falling apart and a loss of meaning? Probably not.
On the other hand, rather than this being an after the fact reference, it's actually
a rather accurate description of my own thinking (and perhaps
that of many others) as I try to make sense out of the miscellaneous snippets
that clog my head, as I try to establish some sort of purposeful order from all
the disparate parts.
