Well, maybe a few more things.

I have little sympathy for the concept of just-in-time learning. Maybe it's a generational thing, but I still cling to the idea that we don't seek to know something in order simply to solve an immediate problem. Knowing shouldn't be only getting the answer to a question. It should also include being able to make sense out of that answer, being able to embed it into a more general understanding. This column, however, doesn't deal with the question of whether Google is making us stupid - even if it does encourage an outlook on information that sees it as something to be scraped from the surface rather than dug out from the depths, I don't think it is.
