A great line such as that deserves to be quoted often. It does show up a number of times, but to my mind hardly often enough. Actually, it seems to be only a handful, and those in the framework of a review of the film. I think the only use I've found that isn't a review is as the epigraph to a 1971 book by Elia Katz about communes in 1960s America, Armed Love. And there it's inaccurately quoted as:
Together, we are a power as great as our deformaties.I can understand that in the context of writing about attempts at collective living, whether successful or not, Katz may have preferred to use "great" rather than "hideous". Then again, he may have simply not accurately remembered the quote from the film, and not having the web then, as I do today, wasn't able to easily trace it (or even watch it to get the exact wording).
