A great, but little known, song.

Dan Hicks (along with his band, the Hot Licks) was one of the greats of an almost unclassifiable musical style that should probably be defined as something like folk/jazz/rock. He flourished in the late 60's and early 70's, though he's still around, and apparently recording good music. He's even been referred to once before in these columns. One of Hicks' best known songs rather succinctly presents the problem of this awareness: How Can I Miss You When You Won't Go Away?.
