Abba, can I use the computer?

The boys know that I need the computer for work, so they know not to get overly upset when I tell them that it's not available for them for playing games. Hila seems to have internalized this fact as well, and she's learned to first ask if the computer is available before asking if she can play a game on it.

But if there's no internet connection, that means that Abba isn't going to be using the computer as much as usual, and that means that the kids will be able to. And of course that means that even if I'd been planning to spend more time with them, they already have other plans. I guess I had it coming.
