And there's certainly no lack of these.
Web 2.0 seems to have initiated a renaissance in the dot-com industry. Lots
of smart and capable people are getting ideas that just might be the next killer
application, and they don't need millions of dollars to develop them and put them
on the web and see who flocks to them. A whole cottage industry of blogs devoted
to checking these out keeps lots of people quite busy. Some of these people are
busy writing their reviews, but with so much effort being devoted to the writing,
I guess that somebody has to read all those reviews, and often that someone is
me.
