It could happen to me.

Rabbi Yisroel Meir was known by the name of his most famous book - the Chofetz Chaim. Rav Yosef Chayim was known by the name of his book - the Ben Ish Chai. Rabbi Avraham Danzig was known as the Chayei Adam, the title of his book. And the list goes on. At least one person I know seems always to refer to me as "the Boidem" rather than by my name. Even though I'm not really sure that this is intended as a compliment, I certainly accept it as such. It makes me feel that I've achieved a certain distinction that places me quite nicely within a lengthy and respectable tradition.
