Another sort of tedium.

Quite a few of the authors of the blogs I read seem always to be on the conference circuit. And judging both from their own blog posts and from the posts of some of the bloggers who report on these conferences, they're making what seems to be more or less the same presentation wherever they go. I suppose that in the English speaking world the only people whom this is going to bore are the presenters themselves. There are enough organizations holding conferences in enough different places such that for most of those attending, what's being said is new. Those listening have to hear them only once.

In Hebrew the conference circuit is much smaller, and when we start repeating ourselves it's almost immediately apparent - not only to ourselves, but to our audiences as well. Frankly, there's something very healthy about such a situation.
