What day is today?

For a company like Google, "latest" is a very relative term. Starred items was new at the beginning of the month, and perhaps almost forgotten by the end of it. It seems that they're part of broader developments in the nature of Google Bookmarks which were a rather static service for a very long time. I'd noticed a few months back that some changes had been taking place in Bookmarks. Aspects of Google Notebook, a tool I liked very much but which Google had decided to discontinue, seemed to be creeping into Bookmarks, and when Sidewiki was released I'd noticed that when I'd highlight something there, and bookmark that same page, the highlighting would show up when I re-visited that page. This, however, was, at least temporarily, discontinued. And during this month, in addition to what I assume are still experimental changes in Bookmarks, Google has released numerous other features.
