Yes, I've used that phrase a few times in these pages, including explaining, eight years ago, how I associate to it. It was in that same column, however, that I noted that others associated to it from difference sources. I then wrote that I was dismayed that the Wikipedia entry on the phrase didn't include a reference to my Stan Freberg association, but that for better or for worse I wasn't going to be the person to add it. Using it again offered me the opportunity not only to check when it's been used here, but also to click into that Wikipedia page after a long absence. It turns out that a bit more than a year after my complaint, in December of 2007, someone added the Freberg reference. I'm glad it's now there, and I seriously doubt that my complaint had anything to do with the addition.
