An example of communicating vessels.

Mine may have decreased, but Tzippi's has increased, and it's clearly become for her a medium for viewing/thinking. She has her phone with her on her morning walks and often observes via its camera which permits her both to focus on what's most interesting, and later to reflect on what she's observed.

I've done this in the past, but do so considerably less today, but perhaps as a unit we even each other out. I don't know whether or not this can truly be considered an example of "communicating vessels", but I do know that it suggests that my English has deteriorated. In order to find this English term I had to go to the Hebrew Wikipedia entry on "Khok HaKelim HaSheluvim" and then look for the corresponding English entry. And even after doing so I found myself scratching my head and asking if that's really the right term. My knowledge of physical laws, in any language, is quite limited, but the Hebrew term is well-enough known for it to be used metaphorically, and be understood. Even when I get to the term "communicating vessels" through a process that clearly lets me know what it's referring to, I don't recognize it at all.
