As this column comes to a close I readily acknowledge that I've been far from consistent in my examination of this topic. Attentive readers may even ask whether much of what I've written has even really been on the stated topic. And even in the editing stage I asked myself that same question. I know that throughout this column I've exaggerated, and perhaps all that I can really write in defense of those exaggerations is that I long ago determined that even if it ever really grows up the Boidem should still maintain a youthful playfulness. And anyway - isn't that the way that you'd expect a thirteen year old to behave?
