It didn't really need finding.

I guess that it would be far from accurate to claim that the difficulty of pinpointing a distinct topic around which a Boidem column, or the Boidem as a whole, has found "its way" to what's now getting posted here. Rather than needing to "find" a way, the Boidem is the way itself, a continual running theme throughout all of these columns. Yes, each column tries to focus on a distinct issue related to some aspect of our online lives, but I don't think I've ever purposefully tried to limit the possible associations that seem to almost freely come to mind, or to screen, here. And perhaps we're not even dealing with a "difficulty" but instead with an advantage. The ability of hypertext to connect seemingly, or at least previously, unrelated items should be seen as a precursor to what today we can recognize, for better or for worse, as the vast merging of just about everything.
