The surest path to more hits.

The very first edition of the Boidem carried a report on a father/son competition. Twenty-one years later the sites I referred to back then are no longer accessible (no real surprise there), though from the father's URL it seems that he was in one of the education departments of Central Michigan University. I suppose that his original site dealt in some way with his work there. Back then he reported, with great dismay, that his son had opened a site devoted to the Magic: The Gathering game and within two weeks had garnered half as many hits as his father had received on his site after two months. Not to be outdone the father posted a Pamela Anderson fan site. And sure enough, as the father gleefully boasted, the hits to that page quickly surpassed the hits his son received.

I won't say it's a sure thing, but chances are good that this sort of thing still works.
