I allow myself a number of "inside jokes" in these columns. After all, when you've got a readership that can be counted on one hand, you can afford to play around a bit. So I like to find titles that refer to various elements of popular culture, until I realize, of course, that what I think is popular culture is totally foreign to most people. But hey, why not?

And so it is with being all dressed for the occasion - a reference to a favorite comedy record of the early 1960's that still commands a loyal following (which today is synonymous with at least a couple of web pages), and is sure to ring a bell with at least one reader, setting him off on his own web of associations.

(And I'm sorry that the Real Audio snippet not only ends before it gets to the desired quote [by only a few seconds] and requires that you click on No. 13 of Disk One [The Battle of Yorktown]. It's the best I could find.)
