Haven't you heard of rewritable CDs?

My CD burner will burn rewritable discs. I can use them on my own computer with only limited fear that they're not going to work the next time I put them in the machine. But there are a lot of CD readers out there, and chances are good that the computer available to me where I'll be lecturing is going to be one of those that isn't able to read a rewritable CD. And I can't take the chance of that happening.
