Wearing our values on our sleeves.

As I noted almost fifteen years ago, I'm from a generation that still reads T-shirts. Actually, I've tried to find a clip of that classic (at least to my mind) quote for years, and not too long ago I succeeded. But what concerns me here is whether the division of the day into three parts still holds. I think that the answer to that is ... almost. Just what those three parts are, however, is still in flux. A number of variations show up via a search for T-shirts, but the most common seem to abandon leisure or play and replace it with eating:
work-eat-sleep
Another doesn't give up on leisure (in this case, "home") but capitulates to the fact that even when at home we're at work ... and we continue to dream of it at night::
sleep
I can understand that these shirts give expression to at least much of today's reality, but I'm not sure I'd proudly proclaim it on a shirt for people to read.
