At what point was that?

I hope that at least one reader was perceptive enough to question what "this point" meant. The text of the main page of this column, as was the case with the vast majority of the others, wasn't constructed linearly. There's no way of knowing whether "this point" came after a barrage of links, or if it was among the first, constructed with the expectation that there would be lots more. I could, of course, lie (or at least exaggerate) but it really wouldn't make any difference. Poetic license suggests that an aside that relates to the ever expanding number of associative links in this and other columns feels like a logical extension of "tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow", so that's where it goes.
